a date night with my boys...and wishing my girl was there too:)

oh what a fantastic date night it was! orie got the idea to head over to a local neighborhood and look at Christmas lights this past weekend....it was something we did last year and was so much fun! the lights in this neighborhood are pretty fantastic....we had grace in the car with us last year and every time we drove past a horse drawn carriage she would tremble and growl...it was hysterical!  this year we drove by those horse drawn carriages with william in the back seat and grace at home....it made me a little sad....i am sure we would have taken her if we didn't have plans for earlier in the evening....after all-she is our one and only girl:)

earlier in the evening we went to a shopping center that has GORGEOUS trees wrapped in lights from trunk to tip top....they are beautiful....so we strolled around shopping and looking...then had a delicious dinner where my son flirted with the table behind us and proved to his mommy that he might be a better date than his daddy one day (and that would be pretty hard to achieve)! the evening was perfection and i will treasure every moment with my boys....i just wish my girl could have been there too....
