Wedding Weekend

Have you noticed that we love it when friends come to town? Well...we hit the jackpot a couple of weekends ago....our sweet friends Michael and Sarah got married in Dallas.....not only did we not have to travel for the weekend's festivities but it brought everyone to Dallas...our city!!!!!

Everything was so much fun....I started the Friday off pretending to be part of the groom's family and hung with Amy and Patti for some light shopping and then a family lunch at Iron Cactus....what fun!

That evening we went to the beautiful rehearsal dinner at Avanti Fountain Place....the food was delicious, the company was wonderful and everyone's toasts were so kind and thoughtful.....you could feel the love and friendship all around the room for Michael and Sarah and that is what it is all about!

I continued on to the "after party" at Iron Cactus' rooftop bar with everyone....including my husband who kept his prego wife out WAY TOO LATE! It was fun though and you know I don't really like to miss out on anything!

Saturday I had some pool time and that afternoon some of the girls came over to join....I'm telling you - this pool is the hot spot this summer!

Saturday night was the wedding and it was so fun.....Sarah was beautiful and Michael was handsome.....they were such a sweet couple to watch marry and enjoy their reception....having a great time the whole time!!! Orie and I had a blast but had to leave before the bride and groom - this kills me.....because Orie had an extremely early flight out Sunday morning....poor guy:(

Thanks Michael and Sarah for a great wedding weekend.....we loved every minute of it!
