happy father's day...

Happy Father's Day to our dads and grandfathers....we are very lucky to have two fathers who go strong every day and don't look a day over 35 and three grandfathers who still run around town, the woods, the garden, and their house like they aren't a day over 50....life is definitely good to us! Happy Father's Day Dad, Big Orie, Poppy, Poppy and Grandpa....we love you tons and tons!

Happy almost a Father's Day to Orie....I know he'll be a great dad.....here are some reasons why....in no particular order of seriousness!!!

1. We discuss William's sports options and athletic future almost as much as we discuss parenting issues....
2. Orie already wants William to have an e-mail account so we can send him e-mails throughout his life....oh my sweet techy husband...
3. Orie already knows that William's wardrobe is 100% my department for at least the first 5 years....
4. Orie agrees that telling William some of the things he did as a child is really just not a good idea...
5. If William has an ounce of the passion that Orie has for some aspects of life I know he will go far...
6. When Orie talks about William with his besties he smiles like I have never seen him smile before....
7. Orie will already do anything for William....and he's not even here yet....I am sure he will be wrapped around his tiny finger from day one....
8. When I gave Orie a Little Tykes tree swing from William today he didn't make a sigh like "another project" instead he was grinning from ear to ear....
9. Orie picks me up every time I fall....I know he will do the same for William....
10. Orie's expression and reaction when the sonographer said It's A Boy was absolutely priceless and L-O-V-E at first sight....
