We spent our days walking around the Quarter, connecting with Rachel and her beautiful home, eating the most delicious Cajun food and spending time with friends. Enjoy some pics from our latest adventure!
The Super Dome...very exciting to drive past that during an undefeated season!

We went to the rehearsal dinner at Restaurant August....a beautiful setting....this is us...
The happy couple....Camille and Geoff....

Jon....always being silly...savoring his last bite of our delicious meal!

Some new friends Stacey and Ross....we met them in NYC for Camille's birthday and shared a table at the rehearsal dinner....what fun!

More new friends....Lora and Aaron....they even live in Dallas!!
The beautiful orchid centerpiece....with our dinner menu courtesy of artistic Jon!
The groom and his proud father!
Three goofy boys....what fun living in NYC with these boys was....
Friday night we had dinner at Tommy's with the groomsmen, ushers and wives. The food was so YUMMY and the company even better. It was so nice to have such a friendly fun group to spend the weekend with!
Us at Tommy's....

What night in New Orleans would be complete without a trip to Pat O's Piano Bar? I didn't have the best seat (see my back to the piano stage) but there was a mirror on the wall I could watch through!!!

This man played music with a tray....crazy weird....not great music....the tray did come in handy for catching his tips!
Their signature cocktail....the hurricane....I have tried this once...in my younger years....not to be had again!

The wedding was beautiful in St. Patrick's Church and the reception was really lovely too at The New Orleans Museum of Art.
Camille and Geoff making their grand entrance down a beautiful split staircase....

Sharing their first dance....

Doesn't Orie look sharp in his full dress tuxedo with tails? He had gloves but those didn't last past his ushering duties!
Jon and Erin at the reception...Jon had a very suave look with his gloves in his coat pocket for the evening!
Di and Erin in front of a funky piece of Star Wars art....

Jon and Orie being goofy as always!
We were sad to see the weekend end and to have to drive back to reality....hopefully there will be many more celebrations with friends in our future...until the next one!
