May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, may the rain fall soft upon your face. And until we meet again, until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

fantastic weekend

Well...again....our computer is broken so I am settling for Orie's laptop to post onto our blog. Because the desktop is broken I can't load any pics....this is really hard for me!

We had a great weekend....the weather was beautiful and we even had one adventure that felt very NYC ish....

Saturday morning we woke up and took a Grace included outing to Starbucks. We walked from our apartment over to grab a coffee and Grace loved it. She did forget how to wait patiently outside a store for Orie to come out....she had mastered this in NYC but clearly did not know how on Saturday. Oh well....we made lots of friends outside. I don't think Dallas coffee goers are used to seeing a pup wait outside!

We then headed to the store to pick up a bottle of wine for our hostess of the evening's festivities and then headed back home to watch the Tigers play. It was fun at first and then we just felt depressed....those Tigers sure can do that to you.

Immediately after the game we had to get ready to head to a party at Orie's boss' house. It was super fun. It was an Asian inspired party with LOTS of people. We initially thought it was just Orie's lab included....but not the case. There were people from his office and his boss' husband's office. We met some really nice people....some other depressed Tiger fans...and I was finally able to meet all his work people. They were super nice and I'm glad he works with such great people. The party was perfection....We drank on Asian beers and Asian martinis.....ate out of Chinese take out containers from an Asian buffet....and mingled underneath thousands of twinkle lights and HUGE glowing Chinese lanterns! It was a gorgeous night for an outdoor party....!

We were sad to miss two parties in Shreveport this weekend....We heard they were both a blast and we look forward to celebrating in the wedding festivities with some of you later!

Sunday was for sure Sunday Funday...we watched the Saints play and go to 8-0.....big day in our house. We hope this continues and that we get some Saints games on our actual television instead of having to watch it on the Internet!

Hope your weekend was great.....what's going on with your fall?
