May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, may the rain fall soft upon your face. And until we meet again, until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

nursery devastation....

So....I'm somewhat neurotic....it's healthy to admit right?

Of course I wanted everything for William finished 100 years ago....and I really had almost everything finished....it was great! Well....after showing William's wardrobe to his Aunt Jen last weekend we discovered that his drawers had a paint thinner smell in them and ALL of the clothes, blankets, accessories, etc. that I had washed, folded, organized by size and put away had the scent too.....

I was devastated....it was so much work and now I was not only going to have to do it again but also solve the problem of the stinky drawers....(I had already aired them out, cleaned them, lined them, etc.)

ARGH!

So....another round of cleaning the drawers and units......another round of airing out the drawers outside and then this nifty little cleaning technique courtesy of Google....

I put a piece of white bread in a bowl of white vinegar and placed that inside of each drawer and cabinet....just to be extra careful....I used another technique and put in a box of baking soda....

Ha! So far that has been in the drawers for the recommended 24 hours....I'm going to keep it going though just to make sure......don't worry.....I'll take the bread out before it molds!

Isn't it a pretty site?

all the drawers and cabinet assembled and ready for closure....

it was so much prettier with his sweet clothes down inside....

I am not happy about having to do this....

Now his beautiful clothes have been washed and folded AGAIN and are sitting in his crib....just waiting to go back to their home!
