May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, may the rain fall soft upon your face. And until we meet again, until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

What a Weekend....

Orie and I just had such a fun weekend! There was sunshine which always helps!

Friday night we went out to dinner with some friends who live in McKinney and another friend who was in town from Washington D.C. The dinner was full of great conversation and lots of laughter. They are some of the funniest people I know! I just love getting together with friends.

Saturday....I had a baby shower to attend in The Colony for said funny friend.....it was such a nice shower and she got some really great baby items for Sawyer....we played a few games, had some mimosas and oohed and aahhhed over all her baby items. What a great way to spend the morning!

After the shower....the sun was out in full force. I called Orie and we went over our choices of outdoor activities for the day.....we settled on Top Golf since we haven't been in a long time. We....along with the rest of Dallas....headed to Top Golf. It was almost a 2 hour wait so we had some lunch and just soaked up the sunshine while waiting for our lane/box. Our buzzer finally went off and we headed upstairs to our spot....a perfect spot too....I love to be upstairs....I think it makes me a better golfer! I only played 2 games and decided I should watch the rest of the time.....Orie played almost 6 games....I think once he realized I had a better high score than he did....it was a challenge! It was the perfect afternoon.

That night we had a birthday celebration for another great friend....Lee-Taylor at Lee Harvey's. It was a really fun outdoor bar/music joint in the middle of nowhere-at least for these Dallas folks! She had a great group of friends gathered to celebrate and Orie and I had a really nice time.....I faded rather early after such a long day of fun (my fault, I know.....).

Sunday was a very relaxing day around the house with Grace. She frolicked in the back yard and I rested most of the day away....

I love weekends full of sunshine and fun! What did you do with your weekend?
