Well we are bundled up and hoping for a snow day tomorrow. We are expecting several inches of snow through the night and then a wintry mix of stuff tomorrow morning. I am hoping this develops into a spectacular snow day with no school! Otherwise it should make for some lovely traveling conditions to work!
We have had an interesting couple of days. Orie had food poisoning on Sunday night and all day Monday from either squash, zucchini or mushrooms. It was scary. He had a high fever for the whole night and most of the morning. He had the shakes and his body was very weak. After leaving for work (me) hoping that he was going to make it...I missed my bus and had to wait for another one. I took this as a sign that I needed to head back home and take care of him. I stopped by the store and picked up every drink that would boost his immune system and then headed home. I was in charge of dog duty that day and being a good nurse. I hope I passed the test.
